Here's the outfit I decided to celebrate my birthday in last weekend! I knew I wanted to wear a bold pink lip... that also happened to match the barbie pink nails I'd been sporting... so I knew to make that the main focus of my outfit. I decided to keep the rest of my color palette neutral to allow the pink to really take center stage. A good way to keep a neutral outfit from looking too plain is by layering up contrasting textures. The chunky knit from the cardigan kept me nice and toasty while adding interest when paired with the geometric shapes of the dress and cinched in at the waist with a different textured belt. The tights and socks combo not only look really cute, but they also make any heel that much more comfy... and that's always welcomed in my book! I can happily say I danced the night away with no complaints and a whole lot of compliments!!!
***Today I am thankful for the lovely shade of pink I like to refer to as barbie pink... perfect for lips, nails, and barbie f course***
